New video player doesn't play sound in background?

With the new video player, if a video ends and if my browser isn’t focused on the w2g tab, the sound of w2g will not play in the background

Sorry, my ticket is a duplicate of Playlists not starting audio when tabbed out

Same here!

I had the same problem this night on Chrome. My friends also have the same trouble on Chrome. I also believe, one of them uses Opera and had this same trouble but I’m not sure

Thanks a lot for all of your feedback! I’ll investigate this. As a workaround you can run Watch2Gether in a seperate window instead of a background tab.
