Hello! I have seen the same problem in this topic: Suddenly keep getting disconnected error pop up . Have the same issue. It was working properly for the last few years and few days ago a pop up “Error – you have been disconnected. Refresh the page to reconnect.” started appearing every time I am trying to watch something. As other guy mentioned in his topic, other people do not have the same problem and I do not open rooms from other devises. Can you help please?
How often do you see this error message? Does it appear as soon as you join a room? Does it always appear at the same time, or is it totally random?

Do not use any VPN.
Watch2Gether maintains a long-lasting connection to the server, which is used to receive updates about events in the room, such as messages, playback and pausing event… The error message you are seeing indicates that this connection has been interrupted for some reason. This usually indicates some kind of networking problem. Would you be able to try using a VPN or a different internet connection to see if that makes a difference? It may also help to try a different browser and disable any installed browser extensions, as these can also cause problems.
The next time you see the message, right-click on the site and select ‘Inspect’, then email me a screenshot of the ‘Console’ output at florian@watch2gether.com – I may be able to spot something in there.

The problems started a few days ago.
For me VPN helps to solve.
