Videos not working for me

Last night me and my spouse who lives in the UK (I live in the US) tried to watch YouTube vids like we do almost every night but while the videos worked on their end I kept getting a screen saying “The selected content cannot be played directly on Watch2Gether. To sync-play this video in a separate window you need to install our browser extension” for every video. It started on my Brave Browser app so moved to Safari and did the same thing I even made this account in hopes of it fixing it and it still doing it. I don’t know what is going on and I want to watch vids with my spouse. Please help.

Hi, and thank you for your feedback. It’s most likely some kind of technical glitch on YouTube’s end, which will hopefully go away. Are you using a VPN or any browser extensions, such as ad blockers, on your computer? It might help to deactivate them and check if it makes a difference.
