I know that the maximum number of people who can video chat is 10. But I’m unclear if there is no functionality for video chat if more than 10 people or if the host can select which 10 can have the video functionality, with everyone else having just audio chat
It’s currently generally limited to 10 online users. The problem here is the peer to peer architecture of the system. If there were 100 users in a room and only 1 user turns on the cam this user would have to establish 99 direct connections to the other users which will most likely overload the users system and network. What would be possible is to higher the thresholds to voice only chats since the load is not as high.
What are the audio limitations for this app based on number of users in the room, please?
