Recently over the last little while, whenever my friend or I try putting in a video while there’s some in the playlist, it just jumps to the end of the video even if we haven’t watched it so we had to go into the history to watch it, and occasionally it’s been kicking me out of the room I made that I have to refresh my page to go back in, claiming a network issue, and sometimes I have to do it TWICE. It’s more annoying when it’s in the middle of a video. Is there something going on with the recent updates as I haven’t had these many issues over a year ago!

Thanks a lot for your bug report! I just tried to reproduce this but was not successful so far.
Does this happen with every video your are trying to play? Or just randomly / sometimes?
Can you provide some kind of step by step procedure that results in this error?

I’m happy to look into this once i’m able to reproduce!

Happens at random times and way too often. Not sure if it’s my browser (I use firefox and it is up to date) or the network or what…Sorry I can’t give anymore than that.

Also my laptop is using Windows 10 still so in case that’s also part of the issue I felt right to add that too.

So you the issue is the following:

  • You have a playlist with some items in it.
  • You paste a link to a YouTube video into the search bar and play the video.
  • This video ends immediately an the first item from the playlist is being played instead.

Is this correct?

That’s right.

Also at random times, even when I am watching a video, I get booted out of the Watch2gether room I made, with a popup message saying something about a network error and I have to refresh to go back in. Occasionally I have to do it twice.

Thanks - these are probably two different unrelated issues. Can both of you disable the „Native controls“ option under „Personal Settings“ - Does that make a difference regarding the skipping issue?

I have mine off but I can let my friend know to turn off his.

Where you able to check the settings with your friend? I tried to reproduce this issue but was not successfull so far. Any details could help. Thanks!
