Sync Issues When Playing Long Videos on Watch2Gether

Hello

I have noticed that when watching longer videos (over an hour) on Watch2Gether; playback can gradually fall out of sync between participants. :upside_down_face:Some users report delays of a few seconds; while others experience more noticeable lag, even when using a stable internet connection. Refreshing the page sometimes helps, but it’s not a consistent fix.

Is there a way to manually resync everyone without restarting the video? Are there any known settings, browser extensions, or troubleshooting steps that could improve synchronization for longer videos? :upside_down_face: Checked Help - Watch2Gether Community devops guide for reference .

Thanks for getting it touch. Do i understand correctly that the video get’s out of sync over time while watching? Or is this a general problem with long videos no matter for how long they have been running? And… how do you measure the lag? Is your reference the webcam connection?
