Hi, I’m trying to host karaoke using Watch2gether along with Zoom. My singers like to use the Karafun karaoke tracks from YouTube but when I try to play them in Watch2gether, I get this message:

[Watch this video on YouTube.](URL of the video I selected)
Playback on other websites has been disabled by the video owner.
Is there a workaround for this, other than asking the singer to screen-share and sound-share in Zoom?
I’m having the same issue. Trying to host a karaoke party tonight and can’t get ANY videos to work. Wasted money on becoming a Plus member!
Hey and thanks for getting in touch. Some Youtube users restrict their uploaded videos so that they can not be embedded on other websites. This applies to all websites that embed Youtube videos and is not specific to Watch2Gether.
Watch2Gether +PLUS does not have any influence on whether a video can be embedded or not… and the first 30 days are free anyways, so there is no money wasted.
