A plus membership would be much more valuable if there were public watch2gether rooms with some sort of queue/voting system for what video gets played, since I am forever alone and want to use colored chat and gifs

Hi and thanks for your feedback. Watch2Gether is intended to be a place where you hang out with your close friends and enjoy a good time together. Therefore all Watch2Gether rooms are not public by default. You have to actively invite somebody to watch with you using the Invite Friends button in the top right corner.
Having said that… We have just implemented this new Watch2Gether community which could become a place to find Watch2Gether “roommates” in the future. I’m open for ideas in this direction…
