Re-entering a room doesn't work on mobile device as anonymous user

I’ve created a + account and a permanent room. The first time I joined the room as an anonymous user from Safari on iOS it worked. But on subsequent attempts I just get a spinning logo. I think the issue may be that the host has to let me in again, but when logged in as the host on my laptop I’m not seeing an option to let the user in.

I had the problem in Safari, then tried again in Chrome and replicated the same thing. Is there a way to clear out all the prior users in a room and reset it’s state?

Did you actually enable the “Members Only” option for the room in question? It should not be enabled by default.
