After last update watching on mobile keeps freezing or giving a black screen after few seconds, often also kicking from a channel. Tried on ipad and few android devices, on various browsers. Works fine on PC.
Thanks for your feedback. I just tried to reproduce this but it was working fine for me. Crashing means that the entire site turns black? Or just the video in the player?
Hi,
Person that I was watching with (USA, Google Chrome), got black screen on a player and constant disconnects, when I checked with my mobile devices (NL, Safari and Firefox, AdBlockers turned off) I had screen freeze after few seconds, I was streaming meme webpages and crunchyroll - no hardware acceleration. I will check tonight if problem persists.
Thanks for the details. Did you create the room or the person in the US? You said you were streaming… does that mean you were using the screen sharing option in Watch2Gether?
Please let me know how it works tonight!
Hello,
I cannot recreate this problem anymore. I stream through tab sharing on Edge without any problems tonight. Might have been unidentified problem on my (host) end. It’s possible that I had unknowingly had enabled VPN. Sorry for worrying you and taking your time.
Thank you for your quick responses.
No worries i appreciate every bug report and I’m happy it works again. Yes, a VPN could potentially cause this kind of issue.
Let me know when you find anything else…

Seriously. You need to work it an APP for both Apple and Android… I use this to run a 24 hour channel for my Discord server and my users prefer using mobile. And using it in browser on mobile is spotty…
Thanks for your feedback! I’m currently considering releasing apps – what aspect of the current mobile experience do you find most annoying?
I use the service to run my own music video channel connected to my Discord. (I used to stream on Tiktok, but they are getting really strict about music videos.) I switched to W2G because it lets me run my stream 24-7. So thank y’all for letting me live my dream of having my own little version of MTV…
I have difficulty watching the stream from my phone because I like to be able to have the stream’s audio playing in the background while I’m doing other things. When its in browser, the stream stops as soon as I minimize the app and the stream itself can get a little glitchy. With a separate application, it can be given permissions to run I’m the background.
Thank you for your feedback — I really appreciate it! I’ll keep you updated on the app’s progress. Would you be willing to beta test it?
Absolutely! If it helps get something stable out there for your users, I’ll be your Huckleberry… Mobile access through an app would certainly open you up to an entire market of New users too.
