.mkv is probably a more popular video format than .mp4 nowadays. Whenever I want to watch something I first have to convert the .mkv to .mp4 cause it’s not natively supported. I think the support of this format will be greatly beneficial to the users browsing from a phone. There might be some technological issues that I don’t know of which is why it’s not supported? In that case this post is invalid lol.

You are right, .mkv is a great format. The problem here is, that browsers do not support this format directly. As soon as browser support is available i will add .mkv to the list of supported files.
