Missing Screen Share Button – UI Element Not Appearing

The screen share button has completely disappeared from the w2g.tv interface across all rooms. The issue has persisted for over 24 hours.

Troubleshooting already performed:

  • Hard refresh (Ctrl+F5 / Cmd+Shift+R) & full cache/cookie clearance

  • Tested in Incognito/Private mode

  • Tested across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)

  • Disabled all ad/tracker blockers (uBlock, AdGuard, Privacy Badger, Brave Shields)

  • Verified room permissions (All vs Host/Moderator only)

  • Checked OS & browser permissions for screen capture (getDisplayMedia)

OS: Win10 64, browsers: Opera, Chrome

Is this a known regression after a recent platform update, or is there a hidden account/room restriction causing it? Please advise on a workaround or ETA for a fix.

Thanks for your bug report. Screen sharing has been moved into the content launcher. Please click on the button to left of the search bar at the top of the room. Does that help?
