It would be awesome if you could IP ban someone, since accounts are free people can just keep rejoining after they are banned.
Or wait… is it already IP banning?
Thanks for your input. You are right, currently users are banned based on their user account. IP banning is only done automatically based on certain usage patterns and can not be initiated by a room owner. IP banning is pretty broad and can be missused and / or circumvented as well. My idea is to implement optional Members Only rooms where every visitor has to be approved by the owner. Do you think this would help in your case?
