Teacher here. I am using this with students and they will sometimes make an offensive comment. It happens, and I’m fine addressing it as I might in my classroom. But I don’t want the comment to hang there.
For example, we are watching a video on India and a student makes an ignorant comment. That’s why we’re watching it–for cultural exposure and to educate. But I don’t want a student repeating something their parents said just sitting there.
I also want to delete the link to the preloaded video that plays. I will note, though, that if students join after I load my videos they only see what happens AFTER they join. That works for the preloaded, but not ideal.
