Can't change speed of the videos

Hi,

The button to change the video playback speed hasn’t been working for the past few days. I’ve tried multiple times but nothing happens when I click it.

Could you please look into this issue?

Thanks for the feedback! I just had a look and the playback speed control was working fine for me! Can you explain a bit more in detail what is not working? Which browser are you using?

Hello! The speed of the video doesn’t change, I can see my speed choice, but the video stays at x1 no matter what I choose. I’m using Brave but my friend have the same problem and he is using Opera GX.

And you are changing the speed through Watch2Gether‘s player menu in the bottom right corner, correct? Are the videos you are playing from YouTube?

Yes, and yes, we each tried it on our own; we’ve been using Watch2Gether for years and have never had this problem

If you have the chance, can you try it with Chrome on your system in an incognito window? Just to see if that makes a difference.
