Can i join open rooms through Watchtogeth?

I was hoping to browse open rooms to join, like a twitch stream, but i cant find a list of rooms playing videos. I 'm just wondering if it is possible to join rooms of people whom i don’t know through Watchtogether without having someone send me the link.

Hi, rooms are private by default and not listed on Watch2Gether. You can not join them unless their link has been published somewhere else.

Well that kinda sucks? Would be cool to have open public rooms where people can join

Thanks for your feedback. The problems with public rooms is that they are hard to moderate and the tone of the conversation if often not very welcoming.

Yeah but to be honest that’s the only thing i came for to watch2gether just to find out it doesnt exist sadly
