AirPods not working

I’m using AirPods to listen to the videos & I’m on a MacBook. It’s gotten to the point where my partner can’t hear me and it just refuses to connect. My AirPods are 100% connected and charged, and the only place they don’t work is watch2gether. My partner either can’t hear me or they hear a robotic sound. I didn’t have this problem on my dell computer (although my partner had a MacBook the whole time)

Watch2Gether does not interact with your hardware directly. What happens when you use the build-in mic and speaker of your laptop?
