I am currently working on a cross platform mobile app for watch2gether and was wondering if there is a real API that I can use for this. I don’t want to parse everything from HTML (performance-wise).

Also I found something that seems to help syncing the videos on each watching device but for e.g. YouTube videos the syncing method seems to be integrated over the YouTube API.
Would be cool if there was an API that would include all this or at least more than the current HTML embed thing which can be found by searching for API.

Maybe there even is an API that I am not able to find, is there?
