# Is it possible to create a room instantly via URL?

I have been searching the page for any ways to start a room instantly using a URL, i.e. `w2g.tv/watch?url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ` creates a new room with the linked video. Sadly I couldn’t find anything related to this.
This would also integrate well with DuckDuckGo Bangs, i.e. `!w2g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ` would instantly create a room, making things a lot easier.
If this feature already exists, please link me to it.

Thanks a lot for your input! This is somewhat possible with this URL scheme:
`https://w2g.tv/pages/share?url=[URL_of_a_Video]`
It will not immediately create a new room but prompt you to create a new one or (when logged in) allows you to share the video into one of your existing rooms.
I never heard of DuckDuckGo Bangs. Can you explain?

DuckDuckGo Bangs are “shortened commands” for the DuckDuckGo search engine. If you want to search something, you can enter a command and your search term, i.e. `!a toothbrush` if you want to search Amazon for tooth brushes. You will be taken directly to the corresponding website without having to click or enter anything.
It saves time and effort when browsing the interwebs 🙂

One can submit requests for Bangs to be added, which I already did after your reply yesterday.
I’ll update once my request has been reviewed by DuckDuckGo.
