Like the title says. I can watch w2g on my chrome browser on my tablet in landscape mode (but for some reason the screen moves/scrolls “down” whenever I type in chat). However, when I try watching it on the app you get when you install from chrome (which I use because it doesn’t have the scroll when typing issue), the screen is LOCKED into portrait and cannot/will not go to landscape no matter what I do.

Please help 😭

Hey @user_b174b6c72199eb5 , I have experienced the same issue. It seems like the Chrome-installed ‘app’ forces portrait mode. A possible workaround is to stick with the browser version or use an app like ‘Rotation Control’ to force landscape. Hope that helps

Hey you are right, the installed version forces portrait mode. I did not think of the tablet use case. I’ll update this tomorrow, you might have to reinstall the app then. I’ll also try to investigate the scroll issue.

Super late response but just wanted to update! There’s still the type-scroll issue on browser, but primarily wanted to update that the installed version is still janky in landscape? It can rotate but instead of rotating to become like the desktop/landscape browser view, its just the portrait view rotated 90 degrees with huge empty space on either side. Help 🥹
